Marshfield resident Lenny Hunt has been named General Manager of the Hardware Department at Marshfield based Taylor Lumber/ACE Hardware. An ace at his profession, Hunt has several decades of hardware experience.. Previously he served as manager of Curry Hardware in Quincy.

Marshfield based Taylor Lumber/ACE Hardware is a full-service hardware store and lumberyard located at 2075 Ocean Street (Route 139) in Marshfield, Mass.

“Lenny helped us in establishing a relationship with ACE Hardware, the largest buying cooperative in the business with 5,100 stores in 62 countries around the world,” noted Rick Taylor, the third generation to run the 60 year old family owned and managed business.

He added, “Lenny has expanded the hardware area into one that is stocked with the items that consumers really want and need and can find with ease. From purchasing to in-store signage to customer service, Lenny has transformed our hardware area. Hardware has increased by over 90 percent in the past eight years.”

Hunt is a Silver Lake High School graduate. He is active in coaching the Marshfield girls’ softball league.
